Writing a paper......?

It sounds pretty good, but I believe that "instead the efforts that man has made through the progression of time and the consequences that they have produced" is poorly worded. You make it sound as if the question refers to the entirety of the human race, while I believe it is a question that is referring to more recent events. Of course, you could argue that, but I believe when reading the original question it is referring to events of say the past decade or few years, not the last 100,000 years.
