What do you think is the most frightening aspect of global warming?

The m extinction of biological species is what frightens me the most. Humans are here to stay, but many others (maybe a majority) of non-human species will be gone forever. Beautiful polar bears and walruses, magnificent rainforests in the Amazon basin, Siberian tundra, coral reefs in the Indian ocean and the Pacific – my heart aches when I think that all these are on the brink of disappearing.
