Revelation.........?

do you think that when Jesus brought to p the new covenant, and said the old things were done away with...that he was talking about the sacrifices and such as that..but, NOT the rules of how to live..such as food, cleansing, etc. Is it possible that Jesus did not mean to do away with the rules that brought a happy healthy life? Just the sacrifices were no longer neccasary? God help me I can NOT spell necasary..PLEH!
