False pregnancy in female rabbits.?
I've had my female rabbit now for 5 months, she lives with a male neutered rabbit, today i noticed that she has been making a nest in the closed in compartment of her hutch. She has pushed all the straw in there and also pulled out lumps of her fur to line the nest. It is definitely a false pregnancy as the male has been neutered for months so its no chance she is pregnant. I just want some information on what I should do if anything, im going to book her in to be spayed, will I have to wait until this as ped or would it be best to do it straight away. Any help would be appreciated, she hasn't shown any aggressive behaviour as yet but the male rabbit seems to be a bit wary around me when I open the hutch and is always sitting in and around the nest when ever I go down there? Thanks!
