How to get the shining face look?

I am looking to find out what type of makeup I should get to illuminate my face I like the glitter shinning look and i know how to do it but I am just not sure what is the best to get I took a trip to walgreens today but just couldnt figure out the right thing to get I am thinking maybe some kind of a body glitter powder or something does anyone have any ideas of how to get the look and what makeup to purchase?
