What is another name for this Almond Chicken dish?

It's a chinese battered fried boneless cut into strips, covered in brown gravy(like egg foo yung gravy) then topped with chopped almonds. When i've had it before it was called almond chicken, but when I order that here in Ca I get a totally different dish.
