Need some advice?

I'm in school. I'm going for my bachelors of science degree in nursing. That's my dream. I also have another dream is helping mentally challenge people and people who on drugs. Every time I see one of these types of people I just want to help them out. Every since I was a young girl and when my mom and I would p skid row (downtown la) I felt sorry for these people because they were homeless and on drugs. I remember I was standing at a bus stop and this lady with a kid he had to be at least 3 years old. She ask me for some change so she can get them something to eat. I felt so sorry for them. I gave her a dollar. It really hurts me to see a person on drugs and a mentally challenge person who can't defend themselves. When I'm settled in my career I would like to own at least 2 homes one for people on drugs and the other for mentally challenge. I would have strict rules for the people on drugs.
