How do I develop a silky, smooth voice?

I'm a baritone. My chorus conductor/director says that I have a solid, husky voice that's kind of like Josh Groban, which isn't bad, but I want to develop a silky, smooth voice that could melt er. Pretty much like Michael Buble, but in my tone. How?
